I don't want to ruin the fun or anything but the, "I made it to 4823983294932892038423 posts" threads has got to go! It's so annoying. Yes, I know you're happy that you're moving up in the big world but come on now. It's getting ridiculous. Every 100 posts later, there's a new celebration. Sooner or later, there will be threads celebrating 10 posts. Yippidy frickin doo.

Posts aren't really that big of a deal.

Or at least make a thread for all to celebrate in.

Ps. There's more unnecessary threads that I can't think of right now. I'll post when I think of it.

i agree with you to some extent. i think lately there have been alot of unessary threads too. i always feel bad so i post in them anyway. and dont wanna be the downer to tell the person who is posting the thread. but with the celebrating 1000 posts if the oldies did it, then i think the noobs should get to celebrate too so they dont feel left out. just imo.

Well, I guess I'm an oldie but I didn't post those threads. Even if the oldies did do it, still, some are not here anymore. This isn't monkey-see, monkey-do. There's going to be more new people coming in and we shouldn't have 3 pages full of post threads.

People should know the difference between necessary and unnecessary.

Nancy - I could not agree with you anymore. There's no need to announce to everyone on the forum that you hit a certain number of posts. Perhaps a Post Celebration Thread could be created since that would make more sense.
