Bogus usernames and spammers!

Everyone take notice that Edencejoup2 and (previously) Adedence6 have posted porn stuff. So if you see a new username with "edence" in it...alert Julie or Adrian as soon as you can. I highly doubt that an actual AODer would somehow create a name with the same string of 6 characters.

Also, could we possibly delete all the bogus usernames that have come about in the past 1000 usernames? They shouldn't be hard to spot (although this may take a lot of time) since almost all of them have 0 posts...list bogus websites [mostly blogspots] in the profile...and have distinctly the same "style" of username. Some eventually come out and post once or twice!

Finally, someone needs to clean up Aubrey's guestbook. All of the real posts meant for Aubrey are being buried by senesless randomness created by "robots" I guess...or one very bored person. I know it'd take forever; so, I'll volunteer if I could acquire privileges to delete guestbook entries and screen future ones. Otherwise, I suggest we just get rid of the guestbook!

I don't know! I'm just ranting on what I observe right now!

Can we do the same thing again that Ryan suggested last year, and delete the last 1000 or so.

The same "person" if you will keeps posting the same junk. There should be some prevention at the start of signup or something, based on the person's SN which is a tell sign they're not here to chat about Aubs, DK, etc.

I think that Admins and Mods should be the one deleting entries--not fans. Also, I think that someone should check with Aubrey before just "getting rid" of her guestbook. After all, it's her guestbook, and not the fans'.
